It seems the landscape tries to convert a second in an infinite time, the landscape is the accumulated time. Based on this premise, I developed the project Souvenir which is a photographic series that is about my own past and about my current perception of it.

Over time we only keep mental images, body memories, nothing is permanent in our memory; the only certainty is that we were “there”. Maybe is for that reason that we need to have a camera and in this way to preserve this experiences that will not come back.

The image is an extension of life; the landscape is a pause in time. With the combination of both elements one can play to pause an experience and fix it in the memory.
