Through History, the concept of mimesis has been presented on one hand, as the semblance generated by the artistic work and reality through the way they appear to the eye, and on the other hand, as the fiction that originates knowledge. During the XIX century, with the emergence of Photography, it itself was considered as a perfectly mimetic analogue of its referent. This project picks up the mimesis concept in order to propose Photography as a mean that generates fiction with a real aspect, a rebuilding of our real experience and not just a copy.

Through the utopic search of mimicry between the natural world and the built one, a search for the formal similarities between both worlds that originates from the point of view of the passerby who flattens the perspective and generates continuity between photographic planes, creating a tapestry that remains as an image, takes place. This exploration reminds us that Photography unveils appearances, but only relative appearances from the photographer’s point of view. Photography cannot be analogous to reality, it always depends on the point of view of the beholder.
