Elizabeth Vinck Monroy
(Mexico City, 1982). She completed a Master’s degree in Visual Arts at UNAM (2012-2014). Fellowship recipient of the Visual Arts/Photography Program at Proyecto Imaginario (2022-2023) and of the Creativity and Strategies in Contemporary Photography course at EFTI (2018). She was selected to attend the Contemporary Photography Seminar at the Image Center (2008).
She was awarded the Graphic Category Prize at the Image Meeting MMXXII (2022) and the Third Prize at the International Contest of Photography Alliance Française in Spain and EFTI (2017). She received Honorable Mentions at the Third National Photography Prize Javier Ramirez Limon (2024), the Image Meeting MMXX (2020) and the V National Biennal of Visual Arts Yucatan (2011).
She was shortlisted at Looking at Ourselves from the East (2025), XX Biennial of Photography (2023), Colombo Americano Video Art (2022), 2nd Meeting Glances at the Photobook (2021), InQRvention (2020), Global Conversation (2020), 3rd Chania International Photo Festival (2020), CitiesToBe Photo Award (2020), Miami New Media Festival (2019), 8th Camaguey International Video Art Festival (2019), Ars Visibilis IV (2018), Faenza Video Art Exhibition (2018), Luminaria 03 (2018), 2nd Biennal of Photography Oaxaca (2016) and the XV Biennal of Photography (2012). Her work was presented at viewings such as Transatlantic PHotoEspaña Mexico (2023 and 2015), IV Latin-American Forum of Photography in Sao Paulo (2016) and at Discoveries PHotoEspaña (2009).
