The cave is a project that collects images and sound registries that take place in the waiting room of a doctor’s office. Chance and contemplation are the origin of a dance of light and shadow, projected on a plane that multiplies into a mosaic.
A symphony of fragments is created based on editing and montage. A rhythmic montage that harmonizes or contrasts, alternates or synchronizes, with the purpose of creating a sound and visual assembly that unfolds different levels of reality and significance.
The cave poses a way of looking at oneself in the mirror of the world. The reflection of light serves as a metaphor for internal reflection: ambiguous, changing, chaotic or harmonious. Reality is always elusive and fleeting.
